Startup Waffles! Round 2

28/03/2010

Here in Silicon Valley we tried out a fun and random event idea called Startup Waffles where we gave away free waffles to startup founders and invited everyone to our house. We had no idea what to expect but 80 Founders ended up coming to our small apartment including a TechCrunch writer, 3 VC’s, and companies were giving tech demos!! It was crazy.

Since the first event people have been asking when the next Startup Waffles is going to be so we are excited to annouce: http://startupwaffles.eventbrite.com/

We will be co-hosting it with Udemy this time (they have a bigger house :) ) so if you are around the Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Bay Area come by and enjoy some tasty waffles with us!

Startup Waffles Round 2 Update!

The event today was a great success! We had over 50 founders and developers come out to the Udemy World HQ (aka Gagan’s house) for some tasty waffles. Below are some pics:

A packed house at 8am!! Believe me its hard to get founders to wake up anywhere near this hour, my theory is developers love waffles more than sleep :)
