Just coming back from TechCrunch Disrupt Beijing. The event was awesome and we’ve met so many cool startup people there. To my surprise, we’ve bumped into so many HK folks there it made me feel like we were doing a mini version of HK Geeks on a Plane in BJ :), which might actually be a cool idea for us to explore in the future.
There were two HK startups participating in the TC Startup Battlefield, one is Chaopin by Stepcase and the other is 8 Securities, which was selected both as a TechCrunch Disrupt finalist and a Top 5 Start-Up in Asia by Amazon.
Congratulations! All in all, it was an exciting week for me, and hopefully, we will see more success from HK startups in the China or international market later on. Fight on!
