Where: la madeleine – 6211 Columbia Crossing Dr, Columbia, MD

This is the next regularly scheduled meetup. Feel free to bring any software/tech/interesting books you’ve been reading and would like to discuss. If you’re not currently reading anything, come anyway! We love a good conversation, and with developers from Java, .net, Ruby, et. al. backgrounds, the discussions are always interesting. Hope to see you there!

Tokyo StartupDigest – October 17, 2011

18/10/2011

Below is an archived version of the Tokyo StartupDigest Events List – a weekly curated listing of the best tech startup events in Tokyo. If you would like to get next week’s digest on Monday, sign up here.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————-

My name is Masaru Ikeda, I just joined the curator team for the StartupDigest Tokyo edition as Jonny Li introduced in the previous edition. I’m writing on what’s happening on the Japanese tech community and blogosphere for tech news media in English, such as Asiajin and Penn Olson, for bringing all things cool Japan-made tech to the the world and encouraging our economy and entrepreneurship. I appreciate your continuous support to our activity.

Meanwhile, the new iOS was released this week, I suppose every iPhone/iPod/iPad holder were busy to upgrade their own devices to the new environment. From the end of this month to the beginning of the next month, the Japanese tech community will be crammed up with a bunch of events you’d never want to miss. Let’s keep ourselves healthy both physically and mentally, go out on the town and meet great people from all across the country and the globe.
