What’s Going on in the Munich Startup Community

Nagios Meetup (Stammtisch)

A big topic for this meetup will be OS X 10.7 (Lion). About which the participants want to exchange tips and experiences.

bratwurst.js
When: Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011; 7pm

For the next MunichJS meetup, we swap our keyboards for bratwursts and have a barbecue at TNG. There won’t be any presentations, which will give us more time to talk and socialize. Should it rain, we’ll go indoors and have a get-together there (no barbecue, though).

Hack A Noon #2 – the hackathon in the afternoon
When: Friday, August 5th, 2011; 12pm – 7pm

The hackathon in the afternoon is where people come up with ideas over lunch, implement them in the afternoon and compare their results over beers in the evening. It happens at the Coworking Space Combinat 56 in Schwabing-West.

Amazon Web Services Tech Summit

Attend this half-day event and gain in-depth knowledge of key technical concepts such as running applications and databases using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Amazon.com Chief Technology Officer, Werner Vogels, will keynote the event.

International #next11 Coffee Meetup

The monthly networking event for people in politics, administration and the web community.

Cultural Entrepreneurship Conference

This is quite an unusual conference: The aim is to build bridges between philosophers, entrepreneurs and the general public, paving new roads to success for all concerned.

Typo International Design Conference: Shift

To shift is to pick up speed, to push the envelope, to change your perspective. All three are useful strategies for TYPO 2011, in order to bring visual communications in line with the latest developments in technology.
