From everything I hear, Montreal Ouvert had a great turnout for their open data hackathon. Fantastic work everyone! What’s Going on in the Montreal Startup Community

This month’s Python meeting explores the unexpected and unconventional uses of the programming language across many domains.

 

What happens when you put a bunch of products to usability test? Sparks fly as products gather feedback from willing volunteers. You must attend this event if you have an application that you’re about to release to the wild. This event is currently sold out but keep in touch with the organizers as tester seats sometimes become available.

If you are unfamiliar with the process of raising capital, come learn from the VP of Business Development for ECJC, Rich Vaughn. They will be covering all of the documents involved and teaching you what angel investors look for.

The Pipeline crowd is a great place to learn from people that have done it before. Space is limited so I suggest you RSVP immediately. If you aren’t sure whether or not you should attend, know that I RSVP’d immediately when I saw it.
