The Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE)

Applications close August 1, 2011

The Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE) is a partnership between Wieden+Kennedy, leading brands and technology innovators. Since August of 2009, PIE has been home to more than 20 startups, including Urban Airship, Bac’n, PHP Fog, BankSimple and COLOURlovers, among others. Now, we’re looking for 8-10 tech startups to spend three months in Portland, Oregon – collaborating with other startups and industry mentors from Target, Coca-Cola, Nike, and Wieden+Kennedy – to build their teams and companies into going concerns. To make it.

To put it another way: Where else can startups get the chance to learn from the guy who invented the wiki, the guy who built Twitter’s API, the folks who made Old Spice entertaining, and some of the most easily recognized brands in the world?

Startup Riot: Seattle
When: August 24, 2011

Startup Riot is coming to Seattle. Startup Riot is an event composed of 25 startups on stage for 3 minutes to present 4 slides in front of a large audience + Q&A panel. It’s an amazing event that really focuses on helping startups as much as possible. Startup Riot is looking for presenters and attendies for it’s inaugural venture into the Pacific Northwest.
