As we hit the end of summer we are fast approaching the next round of applications for incubators. If you have been interested in joining a program, you can start applying to some of the incubators now, including Movida Japan and Open Network Lab. Also the recent Startup Weekend Matsuri Taikai is at the final phase of the competition and we need your help. A 1 million yen prize will be offered to the very best startup (taking no equity) from the three events to help them start their new business. We need you to choose your favorite here.

These past two weeks in Sydney have been absolutely packed with startup events. Notibly there was the Tech23 event and congrats to all of the winners (click on Tech 23 link for list of winners)! In addition to that event, I also attended a launch party for posse, which is a music service that is bound to revolutionise the way bands promote themselves. Definitely check it out.

The two upcoming weeks are fairly full on as well; it seems that events are forming every day so please be sure to contact Marko or I to add things to our calendar.
