What’s Going on in the Indianapolis Startup Community
CocoaHeads
When: Monday, December 5, 6:30 PM
Where: E-Gineering 8415 Allison Pointe Blvd, Indianapolis
CocoaHeads Indianapolis is a monthly gathering of local Mac and iOS developers to discuss building great software. Whether you are building software for Apple’s platforms on a full-time basis, are a hobbyist or are just interested in learning more about the development platform, we hope to serve and educate the central Indiana area.
Techmakers
When: Tuesday, December 6, 5:30 PM
Where: Sonar Studios, 1060 N. Capitol Ave., Indianapolis
Techmakers is for business folks with a stake in the IT world — either through their own business or the clients they serve. Each month, a cross-section of Indy’s most influential IT professionals gather to decompress, meet new people, learn something new, and share what they know with others. Cost is $10 for members and guests, and $35 for non members (guests may attend up to two meetings, events, or training sessions).

Matt Block, Director of Product Management at IASTA, will lead a User Story Writing Workshop. Food and prizes will be provided.
This group’s purpose is to share experiences and help each other along the path of being a software developer by day, and working on a side project or business by night. Many of us are unable to attend “regular” meetups due to conflicting schedules, so this meetup exclusively meets after 9PM.
IndyNDA
When: Thursday, December 8, 5:30 PM
Where: 10475 Crosspoint Blvd
Learn to punch up your web app with Chad Campbell, a 5-time Microsoft MVP and founder of Ecofic. Technological platforms are constantly changing. We’re bringing it back to DeveloperTown for an epic event that’s lining up three hot software startups you’ll want to learn about:

• Knomingo, a unique video community
• uFlavor, a custom beverage startup, which will be launching to the world at this event!
