Mob SIG Event: Securing iOS and Android devices for the Enterprise.

In this seminar, we will investigate the issues associated with mobile devices in the enterprise. Both iOS and Android provide different offerings for securing devices and ensuring they are “managed” in an enterprise environment.

The December guest speaker is Abigail Forsyth. Abigail’s leadership and devotion to finding creative solutions to overcome our impact on the environment has changed the way even the most discerning coffee drinkers enjoy their daily dose and she has since been commended in several globally renowned awards.

This month we have Keith Pitt giving us an in-depth look at Vendor, an iOS dependency management system that he teased us with last month. We’ll also have a few lightning talks about how people setup and structure their projects.

Seems there’s hardly an organisation around that doesn’t have some kind of customer or community engagement program. Front and centre in marketing and customer service strategies, experts tell us we’ll be co-creating the future together. But what’s the truth behind the hype. Does engagement really deliver results or is it just another thing for organisations already stretched to the max to manage.

This is a discussion group for Gamification, ‘play’ and ‘Serious Games’ for education, enterprise, organisational development and personal development. There is no real structure to our sessions as of yet, however this will evolve over time. Come down and have a coffee (or bring your playlunch) and meet some interesting, like-minded individuals.
