There’s a user-experience hole in your signup process: after checking all those boxes, I was surprised to get the message that I wouldn’t actually get any content until the following Monday. I found this quite disappointing.

Take a cue from the magazine publishing world: when someone signs up, get a ‘stale’ copy of your content (i.e. the previous Monday’s stuff) into their hands immediately, then follow up with on-schedule deliveries thereafter. That way, there’s an immediate value connection with completing the signup process.

Hey guys,

I’d like to propose starting a digest for Moscow, Russia. The startup scene has become 10x more active recently with both smaller startup-weekend-like events and bigger things like TechCrunch Europe event coming up in December.

I’d like to offer myself as the curator, I’m quite familiar with the scene and really want to contribute to it’s growth.
(TechCrunch Europe author Dennis Dovgopoly can vouch for me.)

There is actually enough activity along the SC/GA coast, running from Charleston, SC to Savannah, that could support a StartUp Digest. I publish Business Indigo, an e-newsletter working to cover the knowledge based and creative companies in this area. I do some other things, including teaching business online for Northeastern and other schools, some consulting and involved in a young company.

Question: are you interested in talking about a Startup Digest in this region (or some variation)?
