What’s Going on in the Houston Startup Community

Join HAGD for a startup design studio and workshop this week. There will be a short presentation on how to give and receive design critiques followed by time for everyone who desires feedback on their software sketches, mockups or prototypes to improve usability or engagement.

 

The Houston NetSquared Meetup group invites a Non-Profit organization each month to share their technology and web challenges and successes in an open forum, casual environment. Come learn new ways to use technology to grow your business or non-profit this month with featured guest NPO SIRE.

 

Houston Technology Center invites you to join us for a free Orientation seminar and learn how HTC accelerates the growth and success of emerging technology companies. The seminar is open to anyone interested in learning about HTC’s acceleration process.

 

This month’s program will discuss tips and tricks for creating a compelling UX for the mobile platform.

 

Ash Maurya, serial entrepreneur, author of Running Lean, and organizer of the Austin Lean Startup Circle will join us via Skype to give us a good background on Lean Startups and the Customer Development methodology.
