Finally, this week is Finance week at TechHub, where a series of daytime workshops and 1-2-1 sessions presented by individuals and organisations from the finance sector aims to help tech startups and entrepreneurs to financial success. Although most events at TechHub are open to non-members there’s one special event this week which isn’t and that is a talk by renowned VC (and blogger) Fred Destin of Atlas Ventures. As one of the founder members of TechHub I’m biased, but if you’re a startup in London, and you’ve not had the tour, or thought about joining you really should, as well as benefiting from exclusive stuff like this you, can access the connections and community of TechHub members.

SeedSummit Termsheet Workshop
When: Tuesday, September 20th – afternoon
Where: MOO, 32-38 Scrutton Street (Rear), London, EC2A 4RQ
This workshop will talk through the standard termsheet published recently by SeedSummit, and is open to all founders that are interested in raising funds soon. The aim is to have a walkthrough of
all the terms as well as to have an open Q&A environment. Legal Firms Orrick and Brown Rudnick will be present to answer any questions you may have.
When: Wednesday, September 21st – evening
Where: Pinsent Masons, 30 Crown Place, Earl Street, London, EC2A 4ES
This meetup of the monthly Bootlaw group is also looking at the SeedSummit Term Sheet. Danvers Baillieu and Jonathan Snade of Pinsent Masons will be giving their view on what to look out for if presented with this document, or what else you need to think about if using it for your own investments. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, as well as networking over beer and pizza.
When: Thursday, September 22nd – evening
Where: Glaziers Hall Off London Bridge, 9 Montague Close, London, SE1 9DD
Facebook are holding f8 (their developer conference), and this special event in London will screen it live for everyone who can’t make it over to the event in San Francisco. The event starts with a 90-minute keynote, followed by networking time over beer, wine, juice and pizza to discuss what was presented.
When: Friday, September 23rd – evening
Where: Elephant & Castle Superbowl, First Floor, Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre, SW1 6TE
GeekBowling is an occasional and fun night out for geeks, developers, and this time, members of the web analytics community. It’s usually a good night out!
When: Weekend of September 23rd to 25th
Where: London Business School
The idea is simple: combine talented developers from all over Europe with leaders from different companies, with the goal to create innovative solutions in just one weekend for organisations or sectors that desperately need them.
