What’s Going on in Israel’s Startup Community

WordCamp Jerusalem 2011

WordCamp is a yearly conference on everything WordPress (a content management system for building websites). This is the second WordCamp Jerusalem, including lectures by top WordPress people in the country, lunch and snacks and the opportunity for lots of networking with other WordPress people. Everyone is welcome, from people just starting out with WordPress, to those most advanced WordPress users.

Google Open House with Udi Menbar, VP Engineering at Google

Where: Google R&D Center, Haifa

Udi Menbar, VP Engineering at Google comes to Israel to speak about search developments at Google. The evening will include an opening lecture by Yossi Mattias, Google Israel R&D Manager and a Panel with Google engineers.

OWASP Israel 2011
When: Thurs Sept 15, 8:30am
Where: Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (IDC)

The annual OWASP Israel 2011 Conference will be held this year for the 5th time. This year’s conference is bigger then ever. With two full day tracks, and more than 15 vendors, and more than 300 attendees, this is the biggest Application Security event of the year in Israel.
