Houston StartupDigest – August 8, 2011by StartupDigest on August 9, 2011
Are you enjoying our 5 days in a row of more than 100 degree temperatures? Stay cool and head indoors to one of this week’s great entrepreneur- and technology-focused events.
This week I want to highlight the two orientations being offered by the Houston Technology Center at the Gilruth Center on Wednesday. Both the morning and afternoon session are identical, and will show you the resources available for entrepreneurs here in Houston.
Have an event you would like to add to the calendar? Or did you really love or hate one of the events from this last week? Let me know – send in your feedback, comments, suggestions, rants and raves to: email@example.com or @sarahmworthy on Twitter.
Winners of Global Entrepreneurship Week’s Startup Open competition, sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation, could win a trip to Liverpool to hang out with global entrepreneur experts or a year’s worth of mentoring from the founders of Redbox.
