Houston StartupDigest – May 2, 2011

by StartupDigest on May 3, 2011

Below is an archived version of the Houston StartupDigest Events List – a weekly curated listing of the best tech startup events in Houston. If you would like to get next week’s digest on Monday, sign up here.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————-
This week we have some really great entrepreneur-focused events including Houston’s first Co-Founders Wanted meetup. Come out Tuesday night to the Houston Microsoft center and meet people looking for a partner for their start-up. If you are a start-up seeking a co-founder, then sign-up to “pitch” your company to the group and perhaps you’ll meet your business match!

Thursday morning you can head over to the Dessert Gallery and talk to successful entrepreneurs and start-up founders in open conversation to learn from past mistakes and help find ways to grow your company over sugary baked goods and coffee. For those of you who live way out in West Houston, the Katy Entrepreneur group is having their monthly meet-up and will be talking about noted Entrepreneur Rob Ryan’s new book “SmartUPs”.

Check out all of the events this week and let me know what you think.
